She saw this unique, amazing jacket for sale on a site called ohzeeg.livejournal.com. I’m sure by now you’ve realized that the link and the info have all been shifted. And that’s not even the end of the problem for BlinkPlane.
She paid for the said jacket last March 5, 2010. Basically, it’s been ages since she made that payment. After a long time, it turns out that there’s still no jacket in sight even if the site specifically indicated that the merchandise will arrive after 2-3 weeks. Or was the TERMS AND CONDITIONS page severely in need of revisions? Take note, the item was on sale for a total of 49.90 Singaporean Dollars folks! BlinkPlane could have spent the money elsewhere.
She kept on bugging the management about the paid merchandise regularly to no avail. And just when it’s too late, they email her three (yes, THREE!) whole months later only to inform her that the jacket she ordered is actually out of stock. They must have a really big warehouse. Or they may have missed a lot of stock inventory. What do you think? There may be a host of reasons why they made the mistake.
In my opinion, they totally neglected the order sent by BlinkPlane even if the payment was already made. Now if that isn’t irresponsible, then I don’t know what is!
To make matter worse, they promised to send a refund back but she hasn’t received any at all. Adding insult to injury is the fact that the link has been shifted and she has no way to contact them anymore.
Just in case the same scenario happens to you, make sure you contact your bank or credit card issuer to freeze any transactions done. You may even get a new credit account number to make sure scammers can’t access your cash! Be careful folks, the next story might be all about your own online experience!
