Advantages of using Credit Card

The best way to pay for online purchases is with a credit card and it’s a great idea to get a credit card that you use exclusively for online shopping so that you can quickly and easily review the charges each month and be sure they match what you actually bought.

Paying by credit card online is fast and safe. Yes, safe. Credit card companies are working hard to protect their customers from fraud. Credit card companies don’t they can.

- Additional security

You can dispute the charge if there’s a problem, such as if the merchandise doesn’t arrive, doesn’t work, isn’t what you expected, or you returned it and didn’t get your refund.

- Online retailers accept credit cards

Virtually all online retailers accept credit cards, either as a direct merchant or through an online payment service. It’s a good idea to check to see what payment method the merchant accepts before you spend too much time shopping.

Most accept Visa and MasterCard. American Express and Discover charge merchants higher fees than Visa and MasterCard, so some online retailers don’t take those cards.

Smaller retailers may not accept credit cards directly but may accept them through online payment services

Here’s how online payment services work:

- You set up an account with details on how you want to pay (credit card, bank transfer, whatever).

- When you want to make a payment to a seller that accepts that particular payment service, you just tell the service who to pay.

- The amount is charged to your credit card or withdrawn from your account and immediately transferred to the seller.

- If the payment cannot be made electronically, some services will issue a check or money order — this is most commonly used when buying items from individuals overseas.

Most online merchants do not accept cash — and you shouldn’t pay with cash anyway. Cash is easily lost or stolen, and you have no way of proving how much you sent if the total doesn’t arrive.

Don’t use a debit card for online purchases. While most online payments are processed without a problem, if yours happens to be the exception, using a debit card could give a hacker or scammer access to your entire bank account. While debit cards do offer some security and fraud reimbursement programs, most debit cards do not offer the same level of protection that is available with a credit card.

Goal Setting is vital to success

Goal setting is a powerful process for thinking about your ideal future, and for motivating yourself to turn this vision of the future into reality.

The process of setting goals helps you choose where you want to go in life. By knowing precisely what you want to achieve, you know where you have to concentrate your efforts.

As a blog shopping business owner, it is your job to set goals, not only for your business but also for your customers. There are a number of factors to consider when setting goals.

- Achieving more with focus

By setting sharp, clearly defined goals, you can measure and take pride in the achievement of those goals. By setting goals, you will also raise your self-confidence, as you recognize your ability and competence in achieving the goals that you have set.

- Starting to set personal business goals

Goals are set on a number of different levels: First you create your “big picture” of what you want to do with your business, and decide what large-scale goals you want to achieve. Second, you break these down into the smaller and smaller targets that you must hit so that you reach your business goals. Finally, once you have your plan, you start working to achieve it.

- Staying on course

Once you have decided your first set of plans, keep the processes going by reviewing and updating your to-do list on a daily basis. Periodically review the longer term plans, and modify them.

Goal Setting Tips

- State each goal as a positive statement

Express your goals positively – ‘Execute this technique well’ is a much better goal than ‘Don’t make this stupid mistake.’

- Be precise

Set a precise goal, putting in dates, times and amounts so that you can measure achievement. If you do this, you will know exactly when you have achieved the goal, and can take complete satisfaction from having achieved it.

- Set priorities

When you have several goals, give each a priority. This helps you to avoid feeling overwhelmed by too many goals, and helps to direct your attention to the most important ones.

- Write goals down

This crystallizes them and gives them more force.

- Keep operational goals small

Keep the low-level goals you are working towards small and achievable. If a goal is too large, then it can seem that you are not making progress towards it. Keeping goals small and incremental gives more opportunities for reward. Derive today’s goals from larger ones.

- Set performance goals, not outcome goals

You should take care to set goals over which you have as much control as possible. There is nothing more dispiriting than failing to achieve a personal goal for reasons beyond your control.

- Set realistic goals

It is important to set goals that you can achieve. Ymay set goals that are too high, because you may not appreciate either the obstacles in the way or understand quite how much skill you need to develop to achieve a particular level of performance.

- SMART Goals

A useful way of making goals more powerful is to use the SMART mnemonic. SMART usually stands for:

• S = Specific
• M = Measurable
• A = Attainable
• R = Relevant
• T = Time-bound

Complaint Resolved: shesprees.livejournal.com

Sundaywithyou bought a pair of heart patterned tights last April 24, 2010 from shesprees.livejournal.com and have not yet to receive them till now. It’s been weeks since she mailed it out on 26/4 as she claims. She understand that normal mail might get lost in the process, however when she emailed her several times to ask her to call singpost to help track her parcel, or questions about whether she wrote her return add on the back of her envelope wasn’t attended to. She had to email her five times to get a reply on “when was my item mailed out” and she said this in reply to her email:

She  said she didn’t receive it when it’s May 1 already:

“Hi there, did you mail out my item a not? Its still not in the mail. Can you explain?

And can you please reply my emails?

Thanks.”

She replied:
“not sure if you received our hotmail auto reply to explain why we’re replying at a slower pace? it is below for reference, thanks
—————- this is an hotmail-generated automated reply —————-

Posting of parcels
Normal mailing is done daily
Registered mail and posting of shoes and bulky parcels are done on weekends. will do on weekdays if time permits!

Thank you, and have a great week ahead!!
xoxo,
Shesprees”

and

“mailed on 26 april as stated, thanks”

Which she didn’t receive any automated email from hotmail at all and there was totally no assertion to her problem. She didn’t offer to call singpost to look for it or anything or didn’t even sound concerned about the fact that 5days have past and she haven’t received her e-mail. According to her, she know there is no guarantee that her mail will be safe for normal mail but as a seller isn’t it her responsibility to help the buyer do something about lost mail like calling singpost up or at least sound concerned about it. The only question she replied to her  was why she was replying emails slowly, which honestly didn’t help in any way at all and she thought she was rather rude.  She also emailed to ask if the package returned to her side but have no reply too.

She took a pic of her mail though but she can’t tell if it was an envelope or just a flat piece of paper.

She has 3 negative comments already on her feedback page all made recently in May.
Here are the screen shots of them:

UPDATE: She got the item in my mail today, (05/05/10) after a week. So she did mail out after all.

Top Fashion Tips to Cultivate Your Charisma

Have you ever wondered how celebrities manage to appear so radiant? Or how they exude an indescribable extra something that makes them magnetic? Here are some easy ways to help you cultivate your own charismatic style and presentation by following simple yet timeless fashion tips.

- Other’s opinion on your style

Interview friends, family or colleagues who will give you an honest opinion or engage an image consultant to determine what colors & styles best suit you and are in harmony with your natural features like your skin tone, eye and hair color.

- Colors

A way to test if your colors are harmonious is to look into a mirror in natural daylight while holding a piece of clothing/fabric next to your eyes or directly underneath your chin. Notice which stands out more – the color or your features.

  • Colors that are “right” put the focus on you and not the garment. For example if you have ocean blue eyes, wearing the same or complimentary blue color will make your eyes stand out and people may comment about how well you look.
  • A color that is “wrong” often makes you look dull, drains your energy, can be repulsive to you or may even cast a slight shadow on your face. If you are wearing colors that aren’t good for you, people may remark that you look tired or ill even if you feel fine.

If this color testing seems foreign, don’t worry. With practice you will begin to experience the subtlety of how colors can influence your mood and instantly make you look and feel more attractive.

- Prints

Prints should be in proportion to your feature size based on your body’s natural geometry. For example if you have small to medium size features, you should wear small to medium size patterns and jewelry.

- Shapes

The shape of your face and your features should determine the shapes of your accessories and print designs. If you have an oval face, you can wear oval earrings, necklines, belt buckles and eyeglasses. Most of us are a variety of shapes so we are able to combine them.

For example you may have oval eyes, a teardrop nose and a square chin. Again, it is helpful to look into a mirror or at a recent photograph of yourself to objectively determine which shapes you inherently possess.

- Layering

Layering can make you more prepared for social situations. For example, you will rarely be disrespected for being slightly overdressed. When you wear layers, you can always take off a jacket, tie, scarf or jewelry to occur less formal.

Before an important meeting ask questions in advance about clothing guidelines. If you are doing a sales presentation or public speaking, dress “a cut above” what your audience is expected to wear. For example if the dress code is casual, go smart or business casual.

Again, you can always roll up your sleeves to appear more relaxed. But if are male and show up to a meeting with short sleeves and no jacket and all other men are dressed in collared shirts with long sleeves, you will be at a disadvantage before you even open your mouth.

- Culturally Appropriate

In today’s global environment we always need to be aware of what is ethnically suitable. Especially if you will be traveling to a new region, it is wise to do an internet search, ask your travel agent or someone living in the location you will be visiting for advice on local etiquette and proper attire.

Fashion is the method and tradition widespread at a given duration. Fashion is also described as the trendy clothing style in its common usage. Many styles are widely-accepted in many traditions at any given duration. The most significant idea behind the changing trends is that the pattern of design and fashion will alter faster than the civilization as a whole.

Strategies To Sell Leather Online

Jun 23, 2010
No Comments Yet

Leather is the dried, toughened, tanned and dyed skin or hide of an animal. Usually available with the hair removed form. These animal skins and hides treated to preserve and make them suitable for use as much as long.

When someone walks through your door, it is quite likely that a sales person is available and able to assist them with any questions. At that moment in time, specially in a leather oriented business, many aspects of the human sensory spectrum are in full swing.

They can smell the unique scent of genuine leather, they can see and touch the smooth buttery leather and most importantly they can hear and understand what you have to say about your leather product offerings.

Here are some strategies to help you get started:

- Develop online catalog

Develop your online catalogue with the first time shopper in mind all the time. I can’t begin to count how many leather industry sites out there that are falling short in this department. Your company website has to take on the roll of your top sales person. It needs to provide as much information as possible to your potential customers.

- Good customer service

Make it easy for your potential online clients to ask and receive responses to their questions and concerns. This commonly known as customer service.

No matter how hard you try, there will always be a visitor to your site that needs to ask a question or share a concern. I strongly recommend that you provide visitors with numerous ways to contact you.more feedback by providing an online suggestion box.

- Enhancing communication and feedback

Let us start with traditional ways of enhancing communications and feedback. Ideally you will want to include a highly visible link on your site to your contact information page.

Ensure that your contact page includes:

- • a complete mailing address
- • telephone and fax numbers
- • a real contact person
- • an email address that is monitored by a real person
- • your toll free number if you have one
- • a link to the frequently asked questions (FAQs) area of your website
- • get even

Complaint Filed: chunkybitz.blogspot.com

Rockfanc have ordered from her a black bandage skirt from her spree about 1 and a half month ago and initially she said that there was no stock and she will transfer her to the next batch but she did not see her name updated in the next batch and at that time, she was replying very slow to her emails.

Few weeks later, she said that there was still no stock for black color and she is holding sprees for bandage skirt. She asked her about the black bandage skirt and she told her the stocks have arrived and mailing them out latest by this monday which is the 18th Jan. But up till now, she have not received any bandage skirt from her.

She have been sending emails to her constantly and posting comments to her livejournal but she did not reply to her. She can’t get to her and she really desperately wants my black bandage skirt now.

This is how a bandage skirt looks like:

(This is not the actual skirt the complainant purchased, it’s just a sample picture of a bandage skirt.)
