Interview Specials #7: Fyndle.com – alluring fashion taste

Introduction to Fyndle.com…

Fyndle was founded on the 1st of April 2010, but PandaswithPistols has been in existence for about a year. It started when the owner whose name is Tiffany used to sell second hand clothes online, and got pretty good at it, and  liked the feeling of people rushing to buy her clothes. This made her start up a shop selling clothes that were brand new and hand picked by herself, which reflected her personal taste.

According to Tiffany, she always loved dressing up and  like seeing people walk around in pieces that she picked. She always do a little dance inside when she saw someone on the streets wearing something she sold on the site.

Challenges encountered…

Right now, they’re still trying to draw more traffic to the site  and still trying to keep up with buyers’ changes in tastes every season. Plus, they’re trying to provide the best customer service that they can.

They’re ensuring that all packages that are mailed via normal mail come with a certificate of posting, and check up with shoppers three working days after their items have been mailed to see if they have received it. In cases of lost mail, they’ll do a check with the post office and include the customers in the email thread.

Good customer service…

The owner sited 3 qualities of a safe blog shop:

- Good customer service

- Prompt mailing of items and constant reassurance from the blogshop owners.

- Keeping in contact with the customer also keeps the customer’s heart at ease.

According to them, the fit, the fabric used, and how practical it would be to purchase the item are the things that a shopper should look out for when shopping online.

Fyndle.com founders would like to say some words to budding entrepreneurs…

“You really have to love the job and not just be in it for a quick buck! Patience also needs to be exercised when it comes to dealing with customers. Like it or not, the customers is (almost) always right ”
