This is an update on the previous article: Complaint Filed: Is SgDress reliable?
Based on the feedbacks we have, most people seem to be not receiving any goods from Sgdress despite after waiting for a long time.
SafeBlogShopper decided to up the status of Sgdress.com from a complaint to be a scam.
The trigger of this was from an email sent by a victim of SgDress.
I’m Joyce, a victim of SGdress too. I came across your webpage stating the complaints and feedbacks on SGdress services.
I thought you did a great job in compiling the victims’ feedbacks and gave pretty comprehension info on their website.
Feeling lonely, I felt helpless as it was my first time and first online purchase and the experience was damn bad and ridiculous.
I placed my order at the 1st week of Jan after I saw their advert on Facebook too. Thinking they are as what they claimed, private limited company with years of establishment, I daringly gathered 2 of my colleagues to combine our orders under my account. We bought 5 items and I used ATM to fund transfer $100++ the very next day I placed my order. I also informed them via SMS of my payment and received no reply. I waited according to the indication on their invoice that orders will be mailed out 7 to 10 working days from date of payment, yet still no mail after 10 working days.
Panic, my colleagues sent an e-mail on my behalf to inform the person in charge of our transaction as we still kept the receipt. Yet, no reply from them after days. It’s ridiculous because it’s making us wondering if we are liaising with a bogus website as we knew there were certain webistes that used established websites as cover to scam people’s money.
It’s even ridiculous if they are as true as what they claimed, they are a bad service company with slow efficiency and they can’t execute what they promised.
In the end, till this day my colleagues and my orders have never reached us. We decided to take it hard as a lesson and we did thought of claiming from them but how? We called the number but we guessed it’s a prepaid card because it’s been cancelled!
So, I really felt that whoever is behind this website is not of an honest person.
The next scary and ridiculous incident happened after CNY when the same colleagues of mine chanced upon a website www.qqwear.com and we checked out their advert again on FACEBOOK.
Guess what? The products are the same, except different pricing. Not shocking enough? We checked out their info like FAQ, and delivery method and payment method, you know what shocked us? The details are all the same as sgdress.com and the account number to be banked in is the same as sgdress.com!!!
All of us were convinced by then, this person or persons are creating a syndicate to cheat and scam new unknowing customers! The layout of the websites are different but the contents are the same, I have never came across 2 websites with the exact contents! and worse, they used a different mobile number now. Actually, my colleague suggested we can file a report based on the account holder’s banking info and the police can trace the owner, but we decided to let go the matter but when I saw your compilations, did we know we were not the only ones! Perhaps, you can feedback to the rest for those who used PAYPAL to claim a dispute as it can be done. I believe PAYPAL will always stand by the consumer’s side rather than the seller’s side. As for those with fund transfer, they can try what I suggested…track from their account type and number to reverse the fund transfer.
Joyce Lee
We must thank Joyce for the effort in putting up for such a long email. It is true that we always advised people to use Paypal as one of their paying method because, they protect the shoppers by letting them to file for their dispute claims.
Joyce also pointed that their testimonials might be a fake as they are entered one after another by a minute on the same day for some. It is clear that these testimonials are “self-proclaimed” by them to attract buyers to believe in them.
It could be part of their gimmick to put up a nice cover. It’s obvious from the tone of language and spelling errors made that they are penned by the same person.
We would like to encourage you to share this article on FaceBook and spread the words out to do your part in making the online community a safer place to shop from.
SafeBlogShopper has reported to FaceBook to see if anything can be done.
Do note that you have the ability to report any ad you see on Facebook by clicking the ‘X’ on the top right hand corner.
Also do take note of the qqwear.com as they might be also a scam. We did a whois search on the domain name and realized that they might be created by the same person as they shared the same server information and had their sites updated on the same day.

Hi,
I also purchase online with SgDress on 2Jun2010, 3 blouses, total costed about $70plus…same like Joyce, I waited waited till 12days, the only reply i got from them “Your order has been processed, once the item is out you will receive notify by sgdress support team.” I tried to call their mobile phone, but it’s Hicard phone, never get through. I make my payment through internet transfer, and after 3 weeks, I called up DBS bank to check is there any way to revert the payment, and the answer is NO. After seeing so many webiste comments, i know my chance of getting my items is slim…
But to my surprise, on 30june2010, I receive an email telling me:”This order will arrive you by this week.SGDRESS TEAM”. Then the following day, I receive another email, telling me one of the item I ordered is out of stock, they give me 4 choices to choose any available cloths online, and say the rest of the items has be partial delivered.
But when I reply to their email, asking for the tracking no. of the registered mail, again no reply from them.
And so so surprise today, when I came home (6Jul10), my mother told me there is a parcel for me, it is the partial delivered 2 pcs of blouses….so now, there is still 1 more items, they have yet to reply my email, whether the 4 choices that I picked is available or not. Still got to wait wait ….oh my god, I staying in s’pore, how could they take such a long time to deliver …
I’m not trying to help sgdress here, but just to feedback to gals like me, who already made payment, then realise this sgdress is a scram….maybe can try wait wait wait, passive waiting…you will get your items 1 month plus later, not as they stated 7 to 12 working days. But those who is tempted while browsing their website, please think twice whether you want to take the risk or not…
That’s all….still waiting for my last item…

Hi Irene,
Thank you for sharing your experience.
This is what we believe as well.
You will need to keep waiting for your items until one day it is delivered.
Therefore, try not to buy for birthday present or something that you will want to wear almost immediately for some function.
The waiting time will be a killing factor and you may not get a superb customer service standard.
=)
Regards,
Irish Ng
