Apart from the usual scams from blogshops, SafeBlogShopper would like to bring your attention to a case that happened in the local forums lately.

Starting from 19 Jan, a feedback was posted against Bazaar Indulgence for holding stall rentals in a bazaar but refund did not take place when the event was cancelled.

According to the thread, most of the participants paid $160 for each stall rented in Far East Plaza. However, the event organizer changed the bazaar date from 23-24 Jan to 16-17 Jan. Subsequently, they cancelled the bazaar two days before the event, reason being unable to secure a space in Far East Plaza.

The only way for participants to contact the vendor was through email but there was no response until one of them, prettydress told the organizer that she will take legal action against them if they choose not to be responsive .

The organizer then refunded her the rental fees.

Prettycloset had also found out that the person in charge of Bazaar Indulgence, Jane Lim, had applied for 3 different dates (23-24 Jan / 16-17 Jan / 20-21 Feb) but was all rejected as Bazaar Indulgence is not a registered company. However, Bazaar Indulgence emailed some of the participants claiming that there are space for rental.

At the end of the thread, 6 participants surfaced and responded to the same thread claiming that they were not refunded and had made police report against the event organizer.

On 30 Jan, some of the refunds were made back to the participants after police report were made.

Moderators of the pushcartforum.sg had also posted the following contact details of involved organizer.

Lilacbliss Chiffonier 92287483 lilac_bliss07@yahoo.com.sg
Ll Events Marketing Jane Lim 83333641 lleventsmarketing@yahoo.co
m
Bazaar Indulgence Iris 93380052 bazaarindulgence@yahoo.com

It turned out to be that these 3 companies are co-owned by the same person, Jane Lim.

SafeBlogShopper also did our search. There were some negative receives pertaining to Ll Events Marketing as well. Bazaar Indulgence’s facebook page is no longer available, but we still managed to grab an image on the left from google. Till date, there might be some refunds not fulfill yet.
