Previously, on A Big Gather of Cleocat-fashion.com Part 1 we have a spree organizer who detest their services, made a report on her own blog. The fire continues to burn from May 2008 till now.
Cozycot has a thread on “Bad Experience with Cleocat-fashion” too.
A user Chelrac Cantu who posted in Dec 2008 starting with 5 missing items from her 16 orders. Cleocat refused to refund and insisted on a one-to-one exchange.
Another user from the same thread commented that 5 out of 35 pieces are defect, torn or missing buttons. After requesting for one to one exchange, Cleocat insisted her to order another 10 pieces of clothing in order for that 5 pieces to be deliver.
“The worst thing is, the measurements are all wrong! Theres this skirt that i bought and there is this 8cm difference in length than wad was stated! Which is quite alot and I cant wear it becos its so short! The dresses and other tops also had like 3-4cm difference in measurements. Theres this dress which is shown as dark red on the site and the dress came and its like bright pink! lolol very disppointed!
Their prices are cheap though so maybe that explains the quality… “

“Secondly, my items came in 2 different packages, wrapped only in thin brown paper! Very very very bad packing service.
Thirdly, they charged S$1.50 shipping per piece, total 15 pieces = S$22.50 shipping fee. Guess what? They only use $2.50 for postage. Even if this $22.50 includes scotch tape and brown wrapping paper, I don’t think the additional $20 contributes to the amount of scotch tape & wrapping paper used!
Furthermore, the items they mail out to me, are not the same as the pictures they use! 100% false representation. Quality was bad, even worse than those I’ve gotten from Taiwan.
Requested for refund, but was just plainly ignored. WILL NEVER EVER BUY FROM THEM OR RECOMMEND THEM!!! “

“out of the clothes i ordered, only 3 are wearable.. and they smell. So how the material used emit a weird smell that is still persistent after washing many times and spraying with Fefreze.
My only advice is: DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM. “

It was reported that the measurements provided can be of a difference up to 10cm!!

Hi readers, again I’m Murphy from Cleocat-Fashion and would like to add some comments regarding this article. The aricle mentioned about a user called Chelrac Cantu who complained that she did not receive 5 items in her order. I would like to point out for orders which are delivered by normal Singpost delivery, we have explicitly stated during our order checkout that we would not be responsible for lost packages. All blogshop owners have the same condition for sending via normal Singpost. This is because there is no way we can check from Singpost regarding such lost packages. In the article, “A Big Gather of Cleocat-fashion.com Part 1″ I have mentioned that Singpost has literally thousands to millions of letters and packages for sorting and delivery everyday. Even if you complained to Singpost regarding it, would they be keen to find it for you? Common sense tells you that they would not simply it is too tedious for them to find and what’s more it does not make cost sense for them at all.
Regarding the measurements, even until now we are still trying to make sure that the description fits the item as accurately as we can. Unfortunately we deal in wholesale and bulk volume everyday. We could not be possibly be checking for correct measurements in every item we sent out. What’s more there might be a difference how each and everyone measure the cloth.
Regarding the postage again, I believe all discerning readers would know that we charged less than practically all local suppliers. In order to give as much value to customers as possible, we try to cut cost whereever possible. Recent buyers of our products might noticed that our quality has actually improved!
Best wishes
Murphy
