Cleocat-fashion, not a stranger to most of the online shoppers. It offers like what they say on their ad in facebook: “Latest Korean and Japanese inspired ladies fashion at unbelievable rates. Our clothes prices are the lowest in town.” And is true.
SafeBlogShopper.com went to have a look. Very tempted to make a purchase due to its low costing. The most expensive item may cost $16.90 for a bag and the cheapest item can cost about $10.80 for a decent tee.
No minimum number of designs required as long as each order consists of at least 15 pieces of items. And that is the reason for been able to give a cheap pricing because it offers the so-called “wholesale price”.
15 items. Not a lot. Get a few of your friends, combine order, or join a spree and immediately you can enjoy this good deal. But it seem too good to be true. SafeBlogShopper.com believes that there is no free lunch in this world. Before you jump into it, always do ample of background research on the site.
And, Google is an amazing tool.
The earliest we found was reported in May 2008 from thesuper-girl.livejournal.com. This appeared huge when we entered.

The owner was a spree organizer and ordered 15 pieces of clothes as per mentioned.
“Oh? 4 working days did he say? Yeahh we received the clothes today, but only TWO FREAKING PIECES out of the 15 we’ve ordered, in an almost torn, crumpled envelope and 2 pieces of dresses haphazardly squeezed into the envelope!!” quoted from the site.
Subsequently, a few email contents were shown on the site. Apparently, Cleocat actually charges SGD $1 per item for the postage. It was mentioned that $1 incorporated the GST and import tax. And poor spree organizer paid SGD $15 for the postage but the real postage could be only a maximum of SGD$7.
At that point of time, this post invited more comments. Some of the extracts below or you may view all of them at thesuper-girl.livejournal.com.

Hi, my name is Murphy. For those who bought clothes from Cleocat-Fashion and know me, I actually worked at Cleocat-Fashion as a customer support officer. Regarding the points taken by Jacqualine (aka Supergirl), I would like to raise certain points regarding her complaints against us. It has been quite a long time (about May 2008) when she bought something. On our website, we did mentioned we would require 3 working days for processing as we do not only process her order but many others as well. Thus I believe it is quite a reasonable time frame for packing, not including delivery.
As many of you might not know, Jacqualine chose normal delivery for her order. You might not know that Singpost mandates each package must not exceed 2 kg that’s why her order was split into 2 packages. Normally Singpost is pretty fast in delivering small packages (which makes sense considering that most postmen travel in scooters rather than vans). For bigger packages close to 2 kg, the delivery has to be done in a van. I knew from Singpost counter girls that such deliveries are done only once a week.
Whether the envelope is delivered in a tattered envelope, I do not know. But what I do know is that we package it in a proper envelope and posted it. She mentioned that the dresses were packed in a haphazrd manner. which again I doubt it. What is her criteria for a haphazard packing? Common sense would tell you that Singpost has literally thousands to millions of letters and packages to sort and deliver everyday. Does it make sense for them to handle packages with care? Obviously not. The envelope received by Jacqualine perhaps could have been in a better shape but pls kindly note that this is something that is beyond Cleocat-Fashion’s control.
There is one more point which Jacqualine mentioned that we ripped off customers their postage. Pls kindly note that this is just a way of distributing costs differently. We simply dont want to factor in our import taxes + GST into the clothes that’s all. Most other suppliers factored in their postage costs into their clothes. Discerning readers, you might want to take note that our clothes prices are signifcantly lower than other supplliers other than CCT and Causeway Mall.
Having said all this, I hope that all readers will take our points into consideration and kindly look at both sides of the story. If you looked at the article in her blog closely, Jacqualine is just using us to promote her website traffic unethically.
Best wishes
Murphy
