Like weelio_o, I am also another customer of cheapcheap-deals.blogspot.com(her ‘name’ is Sarah J)
I ordered a Canon Powershot E1 Camera from this website. At that time, they were having a promotion where theres 15% off for everything til 20th March.
Sarah told me to make payment(which was $212.50) to POSB savings 001-39381-2 which I did on Wed, Mar 18th, 2009 at 11:48 PM through Ibanking. She then replied 2 days later about my order and told me to ‘allow 2-3 weeks(working days) for items to arrive’
After a few weeks of waiting, I emailed her again on the 16th April about the date the camera that supposed to arrive, she replied the item due to arrive before 19th April 2009
The next day she said that they were experiencing lots of shipping problem for the current batch of shipment and told me to give it another week more for it to arrive.
Thinking that she could be trusted, I waited for a few weeks again and started emailing her somewhere in May but she never once reply to any of it until I received a notice on 16th May.
It was an e-mail from Sarah’s boyfriend, Aidil (altho’ it was under the blogshop email). He said that Sarah have been conned by her supplier which was the reason why Sarah did not reply any of the mails as she was afraid of it. Aidil also stated that he would help Sarah to clear the amount, $2000 that she was cheated with his money.
He gave us his number (83163246) and told us to sms him our name and the amount owe to see whether the amount of the money tally with the info that he has with him
At the last part of the message, he stated this : My plead to you is this: “Please do not go to the authority which is the police. Imagine yourself opening a blogshop to give a good deal to people but ended up being cheated. If you launched a report against Sarah, Means she is the one cheating you, not her supplier whereas she is the worst victim that all of you. ”
I smsed him the information he wanted then. He replied after a few days and said he would refund me in 8 weeks but up till now, he never once did to me. (A customer i found on net said she did though. her blog used to be http://lurvee-you.blogspot.com/)
On 24th May, I received Sarah’s email that Aidil was on an overseas job attachment and that all payments will be pushed back on the 5th June, the date when he’s back.
On 6th June, I received another email from Aidil but this time it was under his personal email which is ‘aidil0776@hotmail.com’ He said he would contact all the customers by the next Sunday latest. I can’t remember whether he did contact me or not because I accidentally deleted all the sms-es in my phone but I do remember giving him my bank acc and telling him to refund me back asap but he never did.
On 20th June, I emailed him to refund again.
4 days later, he replied that he was busy and he would refund me 50 on that night. Up till now, I did not receive it at all.
On 1st July, I sent both to Sarah and Aidil a warning. I told them to refund me by the end of 4th july. Neither of them replied or refund me at all…
I’m a little worried about what I should do next.. I remembered that you could go to the POSB branch to fill in this form about a wrong payment through Ibanking, is that applicable for my case? Because i’m still a student, I am a little afraid that filing a report would cause a scene in my family.

Hi Leona,
I have sent emails twice to cheapest deal to inform them about their site for been reported. Till now, no response is heard from them.
If they sincerely wish to continue their business, I bet they would have reacted.
Do you know that the longer you wait, the possibility of getting back your money is lower. It’s a technique to drag as long as they can hoping you can forget about it and move on.
Reporting to the police will not cause any scenes other than to the benefit of yourself. Do consider.

hie leona. sorry to hear tat. i was once their customer & they did refunded me fully. (though it takes very very long i must say). i tink i am the first batch tat he started contacting first. u r probably the second one. i was jus like u, so frustrated wif his late reply. they did reported their supplier to the police, i asked for the report number before n checked wif the police n yes they did report the matter of their supplier’s scam. so i dont think they r nt the scammer though. probably u cn try to wait for aidil’s reply? probably he’s already serving his sentence? cus i think there r alrdy alot of people who turn really impatient n report against him. i am pretty sure he will contact u somehw cus though he takes really2 long to refund, he did refund fully n did not run away. (i said this cus he refunded me fully already). all the best though!
