Scam Blog Found #5 – korea-geolens.blogspot

In Dec 2008, korea-geo-lens.blogspot was reported by May in the forum. She has paid SGD$39 for her 3 contact lens and for nearly 2 months, she did not received any updates or responses from the seller even she had mention that she will take legal action against seller.

The blog was abandon.

Shortly after, May updated that she has made a police report, and the officer called her to request for more information and transaction details.

4 days after she filed a report online, May got a message from a mystery sender who claimed that she is the scammer’s friend and the scammer used her boyfriend POSB Savings Acc to take in payment. She also claimed that the scammer actually passed the orders to her to process instead?

May also said that her voice sounded like a 16yr old girl and previously at the scam blog, the owner claim that she was having major exam that year. The girl also mentioned that she was from shopping-isloved.blogspot which have got nothing but a banner saying ‘shop shop shop’. It seems that she could have set up that blogshop in a rush to make her story looked real.

Refused in believing any of the stories, May insisted that is either a refund make or deliver the goods. The so-call scammer’s friend said she will help the scammer pay because she does not want her boyfriend to be charged.

Indeed, money was transferred right after May sms her the account number.

Recently, Jackie tagged in K-Sayuri Scam blog mentioning  korea-geolen.blogspot using a pair of $10 geolen to scam. It has been 3 months after May’s incident happened. Could it be the same person who performed the same act? I have no idea. See the last snapshot of the blog.

We have emailed Jackie to have a re-account on this incident, but have not yet heard from her. If anyone was also a victim in this case, do let us know. We may probably contact May to verify for more details.
