Scam Blog Found #3 – theonly-detour.blogspot

The blog, theonly-detour.blogspot was reported as scam on 21 Mar, by deesummergal on SGclub forum.

A typical case of paid-and-run, when payment was made, goods not received and blog was closed.

Deesummergal was asking for assistance to find out if more people was scammed like her but till date no one has formally reply with more information.

I have personally did a search on this blogshop and found the ‘remainings’ of the deleted blog.

The remainings suggested that this blog was selling not-so-popular but cute items like handphone straps, earpieces and geek spectacles. The amount of products range from SGD$5 to SGD$28. This blog probably was only 2.5 – 3 months old since its first post on Jan 18. (I guess, as the snapshot was taken on 19 Feb, thus it might not be accurate.)

I reckon that due to the short lifespan of the blog and the items did not belong to one of the HIT categories like typical Korean and Japanese fashion apparels or designers’ items, the chances of shoppers patronising it might not be high (correct me if I’m wrong).

Following the objectives of this site, if anyone knows detail about the above mentioned blog, do let us know.

Regardless the amount of money that you have lost, uncovering these scammers not only help the online shoppers’ community but also protect yourself for future scams.

Scammers who remain at large will only return again after one successful attempt. We ought to teach these people a lesson!
