This was found in Cozycot forum on 6 Apr regarding on a particular spree organiser who over-charged spree-ers on shipping charges in a spree.
Spree-ers have to pay the shipping charges which cost more than the products they have bought! Below is the original post from one of the victims, tingzx88:

In summary, spree-ers are upset because of:
1. Her poor customer service, lousy attitude, insincere replies.
2. Her consistent usage of “lawyer letters” and “appropriate actions” to threaten/warn spree-ers who probed her on issues especially shipping costs.
3. Her constant addressing of spree-ers as her “buyers”, when they’d mostly joined the spree solely for saving money via bulk orders, NOT to be her customers or “buyers”. They also had no idea that she is a seller, not just a spree organiser.
4. She kept using her “company” to give an impression that she/”they” have the power to sue the spree-ers and take “appropriate actions” against them. Also, in her emails to some spree-ers, she mentioned that her “company” is recruiting spree organisers. However, the “company” name mentioned is “The Missy Inc”. She also claimed that the “company” is hiring full-timers and will enjoy company benefits such as free holiday trips sponsored by the company, AND also free bags from the suppliers. HOWEVER, she did not announce the registered name of her “company”, and according to some spree-ers who had checked things out, they said her “company” is not even registered.
5. She kept insisting that the high shipping charges were due to the “company” being overcharged by the supplier BUT the “company” played the nice guy by “subsidising” part of the shipping charges. Any proof for the genuine shipping charges by supplier? Unfortunately, no.
More info can be found on her lj. She/The “company” is fond of organising Urbanog, BIGI Bags, PGMall sprees.
Dun say u haven’t been warned.

If you are one of the spree-ers relating to this incident, or one of the experienced spree organisers who can help to explain this situation, let us know.
Is it true that shipping a 9.3kg from Taiwan to Singapore through EMS can actually cost SGD$346? (I’ve personally shipped a big box weighing 28kg from Korea to Singapore using EMS for less than SGD$200!)
You judge.
